Hi All, Very new to F Pace ownership here (little over a week) and there are many things I really like about the car, but my delight with a new (to me, 2 years old) car is being spoilt by the terrible, terrible ride. When I test drove the vehicle the roads around the dealership must have been specially prepared because i didn't notice anything untoward with the ride quality. Now that the car is home I dread going out in it, the car slams into every road undulation and crashes in to every minor imperfection sending shockwaves around the cabin. The vehicle is shod on sensible 19inch wheels and the tyre pressures are set at 34psi so nothing untoward there.
I must admit the handling is superb and it turns in beautifully but I'd trade some handling performance for an improved ride anytime, my 2006 XK also handles beautifully but offers a wonderfully compliant ride and feels like I'm piloting a feather bed in comparison to the F pace.
The vehicle has standard suspension as opposed to the adaptive setup even though it's a Portfolio, and I'm not averse to changing springs and dampers if anyone out there has improved the ride.

I did the same with my 2020 SVR.. was like UGH! the ride on highways... The SVR " normal tyre setting" is 45lbs of air in all 4... with the sidewall of the tire stating 50 max air. While driving at 70,75,80,85+ I'd check the air pressure and it was 50,52,54.. SO I dropped the air pressure to 40llbs of air. better ride and no slamming me around either. Also noticed less road noise too.

Now keep in mind my SVR space came with all-season Pirelli's on it ... Once they are worn down in 35-40K miles I'm putting Michelin or Vredistein on it
