Default SVR request and question

Reaching out to F Pace SVR owners. Can you tell me what the step height is from the ground to door sill? I need to know as my wife has hip and knee issues and a high step is difficult. We will be considering adding the Jaguar accessories running boards if the SVR can accept them. A non-SVR F Pace is not an option. Thanks.

I know it's been 2+ years since I've posted. I had a 98 XJR and a 16 F Type R previously. We miss having a Jaguar in the stable and need an SUV.

Tally Ho,

None of the Jaguar running boards are compatible with the SVR due to the aerodynamic moldings they have on the sides. My wife is 5' 3" and she doesn't find it very high, more of a slide across and no real step up. While she doesn't have any mobility issues, she hated climbing up in our Tahoe back in the day.

Did you try to build an SVR on jags web site. I ordered mine. I didnt buy the running boards but there were 2 options, retractable and fixed. I rememeber them being expensive, but if you can get them on a new car there must be something that fits.

Thanks. I was wondering if the aero panels would interfere with the mounts. We currently have a 2019 Silverado crew cab 4x4 with running boards. She can get in but it is difficult. Thanks also to genebopp for the measurement. I'm going to compare it to the Silverado.

I was told it was a mistake on their build site, but who really knows the truth. I've had dealerships tell me all sorts of things I know is inaccurate. However, when you look up the parts, it shows they don't fit for either the deployable or fixed ones.
