I have tried to do all possible OTA updates the vehicle offers.
I have successfully updated the TouchPro software,
but when I tried to check for available updates for the vehicle software,
it started to pretend searching for an update, but it never finished.
Just kept displaying the four blinking colored squares forever (I gave it 30 minutes).
Anyone else experiencing this ?
BTW, my current version of TouchPro software is 20A, originally it was 19C,
both have the same problem with vehicle software update.

 

Sorry, no we haven't had this problem. Are you getting no joy from the dealer? Where are you located?

 

Well, my experience is that dealers generally can not help with online software problems like this, so I do not bother to ask.
Normally user forums are what helps much more.
What car makers did not get yet is the fact that software products need a central helpline served by software support experts.
But I will ask the dealer anyway. I am located in Europe, BTW.

 

Mine has never done an over the air update either. I am on 19c

 

So this time it does not even update the InControl software.
Last time I updated to version 20A.
Now when I do check for new version, it says my software is up-to-date.
But if I wait couple minutes, it brings up a message saying new software is available.
When I push the upgrade now button, it continues spinning those squares around forever and never upgrades.
Has anyone been able to upgrade OTA from version 20A ?

 

A couple of months ago I called 2 Jag dealers and got the same answer..... Everything is turned on. We dont know why it doesn't work. Do you want to bring it in? After hanging up with the second one I went out to the car and it found the update and went from 19c to 20b. I suspect that the second dealer turned it on and off or some how forced the update my way. But if you have 20a and I have 20b there is probably one available for you. I live in the US, my car is a 2020
