Came across a small gopro type camera I bought a long time ago, I had a suction mount so hadn't the 4 pot out in 2 weeks so decided to put it on the rear bumper and see what it was like, now I have ever done this before so if it fell off, a well, maybe could have done it better, so off I went, traffic was crap so I couldn't really get going as I was on byroads, all you V6 and V8 owners be gentle with your comments

Sounds really good, like a rally car. How does it sound from inside? Like it used to?

 

Same sound as out side relates to inside, of course i have the rear box gone, the center silencer is still on, no drone,,so its straight pipes out, with more throttle practice and better driving road probably get more noise, have heard it bang and pop more than this video, probably was trying to hard get it right, not to bad for a first try,
A lot of the noise from the 2.0 is a false noise that owners are hearing from inside when driving standard or R dynamic cars, that noise that comes through the speakers. When i took off the rear box, i had no need for the active exhaust button and the noise stopped through the speakers, now you hear the same inside as outside, just a pure exhaust noise, not artificial noise. Sweet. Oddly enough I really like the sound that Jag gets in the XE at least. My brain knows it is enhanced or artificial, but my boy bits dont mind. But real is always better, you've done a good job and I think that the sound suits the nature of the 300, just like the 8 noise suits the bruiser nature of the R, and the 6 is kind of in between.
