2015 F-Type - Audio Cutting Out - Not the fiber optic
Recently acquired 2015 F-Type V8S convertible, not sure if this is an ongoing issue or something that came up recently from a dealer software update, I do know that the car just had it's 60 and 80k mile service (actual miles are 9k).
The audio on Bluetooth or FM radio (haven't tried others) will cut off at random and not return, I can however fix it immediately by switching to another input and then switching back to the input I was on, this makes me think it can't be the fiber optic connections I've seen others talk about. I believethe car has the 770w system.
Any suggestions?

Wow tough one.
I would first delete your Bluetooth connection . The fact the you can get everything back working again by changing inputs suggest all the connections are actually intact and working.
I suspect it is a fault of the Bluetooth. It will take precedent over the other inputs as given priority in the head unit. Eg phone call will come in over whatever music source or nav you are playing.
It may be triggering and switching to Bluetooth in the head unit and with no output then no sound. Same can happen when playing Bluetooth audio as Bluetooth phone will cut in over audio.
Try with no Bluetooth connection first. At least you will know if it still cuts out on FM then you have a hardware problem.

No luck so far, removed all bluetooth and even FM radio will just stop making sound periodically, it does seem to be related to losing reception as the radio data will go away for a second and then come back but with no sound. Same thing when I added bluetooth back, it seems to lose the connection for a few seconds then comes back with the bluetooth display of what song should be playing but no audio. Any other troubleshooting ideas?
Ok try using the radio with just battery only and engine off (ie press the starter button only.) for a while. Then try with the engine on . See if there is any difference. If it is worse with battery only then it could be a early sign of battery issues. Could also be random voltage drops from a weak alternator or even both. Maybe get a cheap plug in voltage monitor so you can check. Failing that it probably means a trip to the dealer
