Default 2015 F-Type R Coupe Meridian Issue Help *Sorry*

Hello all,

I have been stricken with a sudden serious medical condition which has an uncertain outcome and caused me to be out of work for the foreseeable future. In an effort to quickly reduce the financial load, I am needing to part with my 2015 F-Type R Coupe. I've got a couple of warranty issues I'm going to bring the car in for (Jaguar Portland Oregon) to get it in perfect shape before I sell, and was hoping I could beg for some help here. Like many here, I've been chasing the speaker rattle with the Meridian premium sound system for the past couple of years with no solution. I have browsed many threads here about this topic, but hadn't seen a fix that worked yet. When I mention the issue to my dealer, they don't seem to be "familiar" to the extent of the problem. I'm too weak to spend a lot of time digging through old threads trying to find if a final diagnosis and solution had been found (I'm dictating this to someone to type for me), and perhaps a TSB issued that I could point the dealer to. If someone would be kind enough to post a quick "cliff notes" version on here for me, it would mean a ton to me and my family.

I guess also if anyone is interested in a 2015 F-Type R Coupe with around 12,000 miles and pretty well loaded, shoot me an email at mm767cap@mac.com and I'll happily provide pictures. Once I get the car back from service, I'll figure out how to post a proper sales ad here before I put out on the open market. I would love to sell it to someone who will love it as much as I do.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

Here's the super condensed Clif Note: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...aam-update.pdf (JTB00537NAS1)

Point the dealer to this official fix.

I remember seeing your gorgeous "amateur" photos of your car and would be thrilled to get similar results with my own car, maybe I just need to put more effort in.

When my 2016MY Coupe was in the dealer last week for some other campaign work they applied JTB00537NAS2 - I hadn't had any buzzing to report but the tech said it also improved the coupe audio profile. Not sure if you've already been down that path.

I hope your medical issues have an optimistic outcome and you may get to keep your cat...

I see that PDF calls out JTB00537NAS1 - I had JTB00537NAS2 applied last week so maybe there's a newer version on the block, unless it was a typo by the tech writer.

As extra info it seems like this fix is now also released for other countries then NA. I have found the JTB00537V2 released for Europe on the 26th of January 2017. Going to let the dealer perform this update next time.

Default Weird.....

Well, let me tell you this....I had intermittent buzzing depending on the song and source, so I did this update last month and my stereo sounds 1000 times WORSE. Now, I have constant buzzing at all volumes and frequencies no matter the source.

Any thoughts?
