Default Update & FYI

Granted, and we're talking about a little over 4 months from now, it would appear that there is no mad rush to join our group of merry men and women, and, based on my count, we're currently looking at 22-23 people attending (12 F-Types to date). I met with the owner/Chef of one of the places we're having dinner at today and he informed me that 30 is pushing the limit (and that would hold true at some of the other places we'll be visiting) which essentially means we can accommodate 3-4 more cars. So if you're thinking of coming...well...you get the idea.

I also had the pleasure of meeting some of the people behind the Hyatt Place Portland Old Port today - including checking out some of the rooms, some with incredible views, and parking - and especially at the fabulous deal I've secured....it's a no-brainer!. Plus...they have a pool!

So for those of you who can't read between the lines, this means that Jay spent the afternoon lounging out in several of their rooms with valet parking for his car and a nice dip in the pool. Thanks for taking one for the team Jay!

This sounds like a great time, I would have loved to join you all but we are expecting our first grandchild at that same time and my boss (wife) says were going to be home. I sure hope you plan it next year, we had to drop out of the Porsche run to the Smokies this spring as I traded the Porsche for an F-Type so this was looking like the perfect replacement trip. Here's wishing for great weather the week you have planned.

Jay,

1. Please kindly arrange for the snow to be done by August.

2. Swimming from 4am-6am on the itinerary?

I GUARANTEE no snow
I GUARANTEE fabulous food
I GUARANTEE you won’t get a lot of sleep (if it was up to me, even less than you will)
I GUARANTEE a memorable time

(swimming is optional)

I misunderstood due to the title issue that was referenced earlier on mobile app. Can't use Marriott at Hyatt for sure, and I knew that already. I booked a few weeks back the Hyatt...., and think co-location whenever possible is optimal anyway. Muchas Gracias for the clarifications.

Edit: Jay 'The Fixer' got my reservation changed to a 2-bed room, same price. Thanks Jay!
Interesting, we got a room for $59.99 for a 3 night stay...., no room service, sheets, blankets, some running water, no soap, shower, and "king bunk beds" for excellent birth control. What a deal in Maine.....gotta love blueberry's!

Default Henceforth...

Feel free to post to this thread to your hearts content but going forward I will be e-mailing the group of attendees directly.

A reminder that I can accommodate 3, 4, possibly 5 more cars and 8-10 more people. We’re at 12 cars now and 22-23 people. We should “max” out, if we do, at 30.

Why Rickyjay?, you can't buy this kind of entertainment at any price.

Just remember my dear Mbourne, in the words of one of my oldest gear-head NSX friends, you’re “riding on the coat-tails of the devil”.

Default Attention MaineJagMike!

I took another one for the team today. And while I am not at liberty to publicly announce where I went and what I did, all I can say is: WOW. I apologize for the utterly cryptic nature of this post, but I did want you to know that I continue to suffer on behalf of the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Blast.

After you and the others experience the schedule and the itinerary I have planned, you might just think I’m a sadist*. Rest up...while you can.

*But you will thank me.

Add one f type, 2 people! Due to Jays exceptional planning powers resulting in persuasive exuberance through the postings herein, I am joining in on the fun! I will be attending with my oldest son. Look foward to meeting all of you.
