What’s really strange for me is that I like researching and mod’ing my cars. But this Jag doesn’t really need anything - perfect as-is.

Here’s my ‘21 Gladiator Diesel. The truck + mods means it’s the same price I just paid for the Jag!

Default Little mesh pouch

I find my ray bans glasses case fits in that mesh pouch perfectly. They live there now as they are driving glasses only.

That was an amazing price for a 2023 with no (significant) miles!!
FYI to the OP, get yourself a dongle that connects to that port.
Then you can forget the cable and use Siri with voice control without connecting your phone every time you get in the car.
I even get to tell Siri to open my garage door remotely before I get home!!

a dongle? I’m unfamiliar with this black magic of which you speak. Do you have a link to this product?

The CarlinkIt is a dingle that remains plugged into the port in the center glove (??) box.
It connects automatically to your I-Phone (or Android) when you power up the car with the phone nearby.
It will connect to CarPlay automatically so that you can give voice instructions to Siri.
Best part is that you can forget the JLR maps and give Siri instructions verbally for navigation or "find a good pub nearby".

The Youtube explains how you can link Carplay (Siri) to other functions using an app that will turn on lights, open garage door etc.

Have fun.
Amazing car at an amazing price.
You really scored!!

That's a good looking F Type with the Santorini Black and Windsor Tan leather. And you got a heck of a deal on a car that is barely broken in. I sometime slip my Android phone into the mesh holder behind the seats but most of the time it just goes in the door pocket along with my wallet. On the occasion that I want to use the Android Auto feature it sits in the cup holder. That's a good tip about running the cord through the back of the console lid.

I see that either the previous owner or you removed the front license plate bracket. It looks 100% better without it. The first two things I did with my F Type when I got it home was to remove the front plate and unplug the Auto Stop/Start feature. I also removed the cargo cover and keep it covered up with a large trash bag in my garage in case I want to install it again. I have one of the thick carpeted optional cargo mats on the floor of the cargo area.

Welcome to the forum and feel free to ask questions. There are a lot of very knowledgeable owners here who are always willing to help.

To the dongle issue:

2021 P300 First Edition here.

When tethered with the wire, this infotainment system recognizes allows CARPLAY and WAZE and all the other apps on my iPhone, INCLUDING SIRI, even though I have her disabled.

Does the dongle actually eliminate the need for the hardwire?

BEST !

Yes, you just leave the dongle connected inside of the center console.
The phone connects wirelessly to the dongle which connects automatically to CarPlay
There is no need to connect the phone unless you need to charge it.

That's supposed to be for storing your cell phone. In the ideal world, no one would access or look at their phone while driving, but the reality is it's pretty inconvenient for most people. However, in the newer cars with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, if you run the cord from the USB slot in the console out under the back hinge (as previously shown here) and run it up into the mesh, you can put your phone there and plug it in to charge while giving you connectivity for those services, which works rather well.

Hey Dwight, thanks for the info. Yea, I considered putting my phone in the mesh pocket but quickly realized it would be very awkward to retrieve it when I want it in hand.

Yes, I just unplugged my auto-start wire. I can hear the bird chirping at the pearly gates now!

I did not need to remove any front license plate. Thankfully the first owner had it tagged in Florida which, like Pennsylvania, is a 1-plate state. Agreed, the front plate ruins the look!

Stupid question perhaps, but any concern about that dongle draining the battery? I really like this option, buying one now!

No, the dongle USB is not live when engine power is off.
Mine has been in continuously for 2 years.
Occasionally I need to "reboot" by removing and plugging back into the USB.
Mine is 3rd gen - CPC200-U2W-Plus Type C
The 4th gen may be better
It costs about $100 from Amazon

I still can't get over the low price.

My first two mods (Ha!). I can’t believe but I’m actually happy with the overall quality, especially for the prices:

Just be mindful of galvanic corrosion with those caps. Dissimilar metals is a recipe for disaster and soon you'll find you can't get any of them off when you need to.

A little anti-seize grease that you use on spark plugs applied to the threaded section of the valve stems will prevent the valve caps from corroding and sticking. You can buy a little packet of that grease at your local auto parts store for just a couple of bucks.

You can also buy these aluminum billet plugs on Amazon for a few dollars each to put in the 12V socket on the console if you want to get a laugh from your passengers

Any photos from an F-Type owner that purchased these so we can see how it looks from the driver or passenger seat?
