Looking at a dealership owned 2015 R
Does anyone hard is it to replace / get rid of the red trim piece on the airbag? Is it part of the airbag itself? Is it just a cover that goes onto it?

I've seen it on a few cars before, but I can't find any information online.

 

I got one of these as a gift and decided I didn't want to chance it putting it on, so I used it on a jaguar craft project. This is kinda like it.


I believe there are tiny sections of adhesive that would hold it on. I would warm it with a hair dryer and see if you can gently pull up on one side.
