Default Aftermarket Ceramic Brake Kit $26k!!! - Sheesh!

Came across this kit. While it looks nice, $26k is a bit steep don't you think? LOL They claim to only have one car it was installed on, but can be ordered today.

It's a small market item with a high production cost and a long life - they've got to make a profit somehow!

Don’t forget the cost of a new set of larger wheels and tires to fit around those bigass brakes. Might as well as throw another $10k towards a set of carbon fiber wheels. 😁

Those brakes do look amazing. Jag non-ceramic brakes look almost as bad as their engines…i Wouldn’t mind upgrading brake calipers but not looking to spend $5k…

Currently I am in process of upgrading front rotors and calipers on my R.
New setup will be composed of 6-pot AMG calipers and custom 2-piece 415mm (vs. 390mm stock) steel drilled and slotted rotors.
In the rear 380mm oem rotors and calipers will be kept (just drilled and slotted)

Final design and install to be performed in February.
