Default Ahem...Roadside Assistance Anyone?

Total Electrical Failure. Can't open the trunk or even the glove box....

Soooooo, I contact roadside assistance and listen to that d@mn recording for 29 minutes before hanging up and calling USAA.

Wondering: What's the point??

I have used it twice. I found them to be very responsive was able to get to somebody on the other end of the phone very quickly.

This latest time however they had to dispatch 3 different trucks before they had one with the tools to load the Ftype onto the flat bed.

And what tools might those be? I waiting for them right now. Hoping that a jump will get me rolling

Started with "brake failure warning"

Then wipers came on and wouldn't go off

Then every electrical warning light cycled through ... now, only the A/C and console works...presuming they have their own battery.

They do not have their own battery.
Sounds like the ECU had a meltdown. I see similar symptoms every time I flash the ECU.

What did you do to fix the problem when that happened.

Betcha didn't know there's a hidden neutral release lever...

I might have known if I could have gotten into the glove box or trunk to get the owner's manual

Either ramps or some 2x4s lol. Especially with the car lowered it won't got straight up onto the flatbed.

My tow truck driver was innovative. Only required a couple feet of dragging because the electronic parking brake doesn't release without "electric".

By the time we were at the dealership, nothing worked at all. A long hook released my son's suitcase from the trunk, bounced the back wheels of the bed...night night leaper...

If the ECU is working properly, everything immediately comes back to life after the display cycles through all the warning lights and indicators. Having those symptoms occur without OBDII intervention would indicate to me that something went awry with your ECU.
