I thought that this behind the seat is for heater or air but the air doesn't come out from it.

is it just for the decoration or have other function that I don't expect??

Could be an escape port for the air displaced by the large rear speakers.

Right. I'm not 100% sure.

When I was into high-end audio, the best speakers ALWAYS had front-facing ports on them. These would enhance the base frequencies.

But I haven't even looked into where that relief panel is in the F. <Walks to garage> Nope, our '14 'Vert doesn't have those ports behind the seats. We have the mid-level Meridian system (NOT the high-wattage surround system).

Might also be a Coupe-only thing.

If the door speaker panels have "Meridian" badges on them (and nothing else) then you have the base 380 W system, if the badges have Meridian then under that (in smaller font) "Surround Sound" then you have the 700 W surround sound system.
The main difference is the Surround system has a speaker in the centre (rising) air vent while the base system does not.
You can also tell by going into the Audio settings, the 700 W surround system has Surround Sound settings for Meridian, Dolby Prologic 11 and DTS Neo6 while the base system does not.

You can plug the VIN number into the TOPiX system to see how it was equipped.

That may or may not work, TOPiX is really bad for listing options the car doesn't have and not listing options it does have!
FWIW I have the 700 W surround system and my TOPiX build sheet says "premium sound system", I have no idea what TOPiX calls the base sound system.

My TOPIx sheet lists the 380w Meridian as "Branded Sound Sys (L3)". I've seen the 700w described as (L4).

My guess is that it is an exit port, and part of the HVAC's flow through design. You wouldn't want a totally sealed cabin. I have owned several vehicles with small air ports in the hatch area and always figured they were to let air out of the vehicle.

Hmmm, so you think that convertibles like ours don't have this port, because dropping the top provides that function?

Up until this post, I believed I had the 380w, but my TOPiX says "premium sound system", has a center speaker, and reads "Meridian Surround" on the doors. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Yeah, my "cheap" Meridian is labelled just "Meridian", the biggie says "Surround".

I agree it might be an exit relief valve to allow the pressure to escape when you shut the door with the windows up. Most/all/? cars have them. I'm not sure of the engineering of the convertible.
