Default Inquiring minds want to know!

I have been lurking since October, after driving an S at a dealer, but I am now interested in a 2017 R coupe if I can get the right deal and delivery in July. My dealer in Cary says they have no info on 2017 yet so I expect to see it here on the forum first.

Join JCNA. To qualify for any rebates, you have to be a member for 6 months prior to delivery. $2,500 rebate last year.

Have just run our FTR spec through the UK configurator and concur;
There has been a price hike and differences are the 'grouping' of options, i.e into 'packs' rather than separate (although this can be done later), and the Solar Attenuating Windscreen.
Of course there is the option of the 'British Design Edition' on the V6's for 2017MY.

A sales rep from a nearby dealership has confirmed to me that they can configure 2017's now. He even sent me the ordering guide and retail pricing guide. Now I just have to figure out exactly what I want and see if I can work a deal.

I should have joined earlier last year when they had thee $1,000 rebate, but I didn't when they announced that they were no longer doing it. I'm guessing they did so because people were just joining for the discount. $2,500 is certainly a chunk of money, but I'm not going to wait any longer at this point. My loss.

One more question, is the invoice price exactly 6% below MSRP or does the invoice price vary some other way?

Default Dealerships in america

My friend,
Are you located in the UK or Europe ? Or are you in the states? Dealership here in NJ has no info on 2017 cars.
Thank you!

In the US. I ran in to the same issue. The closest dealership to me acts like they have no information about the 2017's. Another in a nearby city has the information and can configure one. Go figure.

Dealerships representing all makes and models vary greatly in terms of management competence and employee knowledge and training.

Just for reference to compare years, I optioned out a MY17 to the same specs (ignoring AWD of course) as my MY15.

$107,025 - MY15 Coupe R
$112,775 - MY17 Coupe R
-- $5,750 increase

The only real difference missing from mine would be the incontrol apps and powered trunk lid. One of those times that I'm really glad to have been an early adopter.

I'm not sure if I understood your post. Am I missing something, but according you the two model year prices the 2017 car is less cost, yes ? Or did I not get it.

Hes saying that to kit out the same car, two years later, would cost 5750 bucks more.
You dont suppose that increase is related to the requirement for AWD in the US?

It would cost $5,750 more. You do get a few more standard options, AWD and 4 more years of included service. AWD not being something I wanted though.

To duplicate my 2016 loaded Base would cost $1,500 more as a 2017. I think the only change would be the windshield.

Default For those who leased a 2017 R Type coupe

I know this can be a touchy question but I'll still pose the question, what's a good monthy lease price for a typical 36 - 39 month term. I'll be going to order my 2017 in approx 4 weeks time so I'd like to have some wheeling & dealing ammunition and info.
Thank you....
