Default Anyone Using The Velocity/AP 200 Cell Sport Catalyst and Downpipe On Their F-Type?

I'm unfortunately now having to, fairly quickly, replace the catalytic convertors on my 2016 F-Type R. The only valid, even remotely logical option I've found, is the Velocity/AP 200 Cell Catalyst and downpipe made exclusively for the F-Type.
There have been a very few, random, positive comments here, but nothing of note.

I would very much appreciate comments from anyone who has experience with this product, and their thoughts. Thanks.

I have them on my V8R coupe, they're great! Construction and welds are very nice, these are a great upgrade and in theory should hold up better over time, especially if you have an earlier model with the extra overrun fuelling (translation, big pops and bangs). Only potential caveat is they are louder - I like them but it took me a little while to acclimate. Cold start is pretty loud valves open ( mine is vacuum so they are always open and take a few seconds to close on startup). Pops and bangs are now rifle shots lol - but still very mellow with the stock exhaust and valves closed. Not sure on power increase - I'm sure exhaust flow is better but I think of it as a reliability upgrade.

Thanks very much for the input. I was just told that a new tune was required with the Velocity option to prevent engine codes popping up.. What kind of automotive shop could handle that?

You can easily install the tune your self. It comes with a programmer that plugs into the OBD port under the steering wheel.

It's possible, best thing would be to get VAP on the phone and they will advise you. VAP will sell you an off the shelf tune + a gadget to flash your ECU and you can do it all yourself. They may have a "stock" tune with the engine codes disabled if you want to keep power levels the same, or you could go with their upgrade which will give you a bit of a power bump.
