Great photos! Nice job of hiding that Ford truck Interesting to see that no one really had the same wheels. Looks like everybody has a slight different pref for wheels.

And we all drive Jaguars.

Good stuff and you can see why Jaguar used Polaris White for their commercials as almost any other color simply doesn't 'pop' as well on camera. Still, of course, color is always a personal preference and, naturally I love my Stratus Gray V6S Coupe.

Come to think of it, if Jaguar really wanted to depict 'Villians" in the proper light, it should have been black (or any other darker car versus "good guy white"). You know...like in any traditional Western. Politically incorrect though that all sounds. You get my point (and no offense).

Great pics.

Not to worry - east coasters - we shall have our day.

And the less I see the propeller wheels, the more I love my...propeller wheels.

I think photos/videos don't do black justice. Looks **really** mean in person, especially with the black pack + nice wax.

Don't worry, AWD is coming for you East Coasters. You can have a Dec Drive next year too

And, as I've said many times here, NO picture or video does the F-Type really any justice.

Best regards, from a cold and snowy east coast

I agree. It's a fundamental problem with the way cameras meter and capture light. It's possible to capture some of the lustre indirectly by adjusting the image to correct for the camera bias.

Here's a 'vert from today's meetup, and another of mine (stratus, not black) from a while back.

Well said! Now if I could just get someone to photoshop the propeller wheels from the 'vert shot you posted onto the shot of your Stratus Gray..I would then have yet another shot of my car, albeit from the same rear angle of the other two shots I have.

Granted, it is a stunning rear and a stunning shot!

Well done!

In case you've never been there, it's always a bit chilly on the NoCal coast, primarily because of a stiff breeze from off-shore. That's true even in July. If you go a few miles inland, it's usually very nice.

Water temps are always cold because the currents come from the Gulf of Alaska, as opposed to the U.S. east coast where they come from the Gulf of Mexico.

From approximately NYC south, there's really no reason to put up a car for the winter. When I had a Shelby 427SC Cobra replica, we had an annual New Year's Day cruise through the streets of Washington DC, with up to 40 cars involved (picture below--click on it several times to see large format)

The problem of doing such a cruise in the F-Type is that there aren't nearly as many cars on the road around here. For example, so far, I'm the only Maryland member of this forum, and I've only seen one from Virginia. In fact, I still have yet to see another F-Type on the road.

Thanks, I had what could have been some really great shots but unfortunately they came out blurry due to bouncing on the rough roads.

This could have been a nice shot.

Wow, seeing all those white Coupes together at the same time makes me question picking white myself. Oh well, I've never owned a white car before which is why I picked it so I'll be just like everyone else (eventually).
