I'm confused. Im getting code "P013E 02 sensor delayed response -Rich to Lean Bank 1 Sensor 2" I've watched The video that everyone recommended (see below) and Skrrrt says its the passenger side sensor located on the cat. Yet diagrams i've seen show the cat sensor as #3. I purchased the part Skrrrt called out (16035) and put it in the cat. No problem. but the wire is a little longer and the connector is "opposite hand". See below. So the questions are 1) Is bank 1 sensor 2 located passenger side on cat. If not, where is it? 2) What is the correct part number and location of 02 sensor on bank 1 sensor 2?
Yes, you have the correct O2 sensor identified -- right side (passenger side in a US-spec car), on the catalytic converter. I'm not positive, but I think Bosch 16035 is for the left side and 16042 is for the right side. Google the part numbers and you'll see that the connector is flipped between the two. Is there a reason you're not just letting your local dealership fix it under the 10 year / 120K mile O2 sensor extended warranty? Are you concerned that they'll update the software at the same time?

I don't trust the dealers. Last time I took my Jag to Darien Connecticut dealer they had ruined a $3000 paint correction and ceramic coating by somehow getting paint over-spray on it. But it took me a couple weeks to figure out it was most likely them, so I never brought it back. And the service manager just gave me a sleazy vibe. Besides, I'm very **** about my cars, don't mind doing relatively easy work and like knowing as much about my cars as I can. Thanks so much for the help.
Oh good. I am not the only one. Did the same exact thing...listened to Skrrrrrt. I even tried to verify that the sensor should be the 16035 sensor, and saw many sources saying the same. And that is right...until 2017. In 2017 it looks like they changed things up. Bosch 16042 should be bank 1 sensor 2 for 2017-2020 cars. At least that is what I have been able to find in a couple of catalogs now. It has the blue connector, short loom, and key on the appropriate side. I need to order and test it out yet, but looks right.
