Was out taking a leisurely drive to South Carolina on Saturday and when I least expected it, I saw in my side-view mirror the familiar headlights of an F-Type. I immediately looked down to the grill and saw the SVR badging and thought that my wife was behind me since I have never seen another SVR out in the wild!!! Then I realized that wasn't possible because she was sitting right beside me in the truck. The driver slowly pulled up and passed me only to never be seen again. LOL We were in the truck pulling a trailer so there was no way I was going to keep up with him when we got out of town. My only wish was that we had been in our SVR. The funny thing was that it was an exact copy of ours, color, and all. It was pretty to see it running the roads and take off out of the pack...

If you are the driver, Thanks for the view and next time, I hope I am driving the SVR as well!!

 

Did you check the license plate to be sure it wasn’t yours?

 

Well I just so happened to making a run up 17 to Charleston on Saturday... oh wait

 

Well, I'm sure it was an SVR and I was headed up to Leesburg so we would have been on different roads. Maybe I'll see you in Savannah when my wife and I are visiting our daughter.

 

I'm decidedly not a SVR. I've only seen (2) F-Ftypes since I moved to Savannah 9 years ago. My wife got a wave from a pre-facelift convert on the way to the office last week.. that makes 3! I keep a humble P450 downtown if you are in area.
