Was that feeling of power difference I anecdotally felt a) the LSD, b) the shitty Pirelli Tires chirping and spinning off the line, or c) the slight bit more torque in general, or d) the automatic transmission vs my manual?

I am not saying it was a massive amount, but I feel that there was something that would lead people to believe that extra 40hp was noticeable. What would that have been?
Are the torque curve the same, and if not, could that be the reason?

Congrats. If you find the shifter throw a bit too long, Velocity AP can set you up with a short-shifter. Totally transforms the feel.

Thanks everyone!

11k miles. She's a CPO too so she cost a bit more than I had budgeted for; I'll live though! (planning more trips to Kroger than the local steakhouse) I didn't think I would like the car as much in darker colours (I had my heart set on white/red), but I really like this combo. The blue looks amazing in direct sunlight, IMHO.

Are you running out of those? Sort of wondering if I should pry mine out of my current 2016 prior to the arrival of the 2019, or just buy a second one. I thought you were possibly going to run out, and no more?? Prolly cheaper to just buy another one, and get some more of those sweeeeeet unhinged stickers.

I think I still have 7 in inventory that I’m holding for VAP. I had 2 batches of 10 each built. Have a chat with Stuart and we’ll sharpen our pencils a bit.
I’ll also need to do a bit of research to see if it’s compatible with the 2018+ models.

Uh-oh. I purchased a short shifter for a MY2019.5 that just now arrived in port and I should have next weekend. Watching this with great interest!

Did you purchase from VAP or 4H-Tech? If so, I'll look into it for you.

I purchased from the VAP web site and it was shipped from you (Lance). I appreciate that you are checking into this for me. I had assumed that the manual transmission and linkages would be the same. Would hate to have torn things apart only to find that it doesn't fit.
Thanks again.

Let me check into this before you tear things apart. Please pm me your VIN. I'll need that to cross-reference the shifter-rail with my local dealer or someone else with the current parts catalog.

Has anyone fitted the short-shifter to anything other than a 2016 model?
