I just got an F-Type and was going over the maintenance schedule. It lists;

"Record Battery Code" every 2 years.

Just what does this mean? Thankx...

 

I am guessing this is some type of monitoring code indicating the battery's health. I believe as batteries are sealed must be monitored electronically somehow vs. testing cells manually. Or visual inspection. May also be related to OSHA safety requirements for determining battery is safely in working order, but I'm guessing here. Technical brain trust of the forum may know.
