Yep,that's the unit...I may pick up 2 of those and use one for the Jag and one for the roadster even though it has a kill switch.

Is the 3 amp the recommended unit to use? Would 1.25 amp work ok?

Yes, the 1.25a models work fine and are the traditional Battery Tender (BT) and BT Plus units. It will just take longer to a full charge, and then you can safely leave it connected to maintain that charge.

I have 3 of them ranging from 2-10 years old, and they just keep working.

Great find, thanks Buick.

I see this 3.0 unit charges both 12V and 6V systems. If I owned a "classic" running a 6V system, I would definitely pick one up since my 1.25 BT's only charge 12V systems.
