That's a beautiful car. The P7 grille really transforms the older models and I like those wheels. They compliment the body color well. I have to ask, what kind of car wax or coating is on the car ? It sure looks like it is doing its job.
Thanks guys!
It finally has presence at idle which was my main objective, but also it's much deeper and less metallic sounding. I opted for the sport level and it's not a lot louder than stock with the valves open, but is a much much better tone.
agreed 18-20 face lift front end but with a p7 grill might be my favorite combo from any year F-Type
TBH my detail guy did the job.. just a clay bar and fresh wax. I know he's a Mcguire's shop, for whatever that's worth. Also I'm sure the good camera/lens/lighting/processing helps add to the effect quite a bit.

It's not like it could have been installed upside-down or anything.. so I'm not really sure what's going on.
I've reached out to VAP about this issue earlier today. Still waiting on their response. Hoping it won't mean removing it and shipping to Canada. I don't have a stock v8 muffler to put on in the mean time, and I can't imagine the shipping charges being cheap.
Since they're flow forged, you can do any width/offset you like. Mine are very aggressive compared to stock, but I've seen a few around the forums here with the same wheels in a more conservative spec.
Other benefit is that turnaround was in the order of a week or two, rather than months like most custom wheels.
I'll probably be selling these ones when my custom 3pc are done, but who knows when that will be.
A friend of mine is a distributor so I went through him to order. I can definitely connect you with him if you like.

It seems your profile is set to not receive private messages, but here's his info anyway.
My friend's name is Eric. He runs a shop called Supreme Power in Southern California.
Call and ask for him (or Kim) at 714.515.7544, or email eric@supremepower.com
Tell him Drü told you to contact him re: Savini wheels for your F-type and he'll get you sorted out.

Are the tips removable and attached with set screws? Could be just an adjustment as the bottom set screw is turned in too much. If it's the outlet pipe itself that welded just a bit off, a cheater pipe inserted and pulled down would set it correctly. You don't have far to go. Your mods look great and really transformed the car.

Not really excited about cutting and welding on a brand new exhaust, but I guess we'll see how it plays out.
The more I look at it though, the more I'm concerned with how low the actual can itself is sitting. There's only about a fist worth of space between it and the ground, and more room between it and the heat shield than I'd expect.
Hopefully the guys over at VAP will have some insight for me soon.
Thanks! Very pleased with how it's coming together.
