No I am having second thoughts now - the back already has a lot of badges - Jaguar on spoiler, F Type and S badges on rear - think another F Type badge on the license plate frame will be too much.

Also wondering if framing the license plate in black will detract from the rear of the car, make it too busy... hmmm....

IMO, you're quite right. I too have an "S" (2015 V6S) and my plate is without frame and looks clean just the way it is. To each his own...but you have my vote (not that you were looking for it).
