My blind spot monitors do not come on until a car is about 10 feet behind me which would be too late if I tried to change lanes. Anyone else notice this. I do have the mirrors adjusted outward.

Also the front parking aid is very erratic, especially when pulling up to bumper curbs.

 

Only time I find the blind spot monitor really helpful is when there's a fast approaching car and it blinks like crazy. Other I agree, when it's just normal on I can already see the car with my mirror.

 

You can try looking in your blind spot. I'm a genius I know.
