Hey Everyone! I just bought a 2015 Jaguar F-Type-S.
it’s my first jag! It has 34k miles on it. Ans advice or tips for maintenance or things to look out for? I’m picking up the car tomorrow from the dealer
Change dif fluid, plan to change pinion seal.
Look for coolant leaks, plan to change coolant pipes behind motor.
Get rid of PZero tires.
Premium gas only from the majors.
Maintenance:
Oil change every 3-5k
Tips: get a mityvac 7201or something similar Use FCP euro, the have lifetime warranty on parts (even oil) so it will becomes just the cost of shipping
Redline: Run in the last gas tank before every oil change. Should help the injectors last longer.
If you're willing to DIY: spark plugs (50 -75kish) and injectors (50-75k) are very doable. Y pipe as well, and is simplified with a shop crane (less than $250 at harbor freight, ended up needing it for the injectors as they were seized).
- for injectors get from a bosch retailer (autozone may work).. less than half the price compared to dealer and bosch offers lifetime warranty
Thanks so much everyone! I really appreciate the help and advice! When I was on the Test run, the car did flash the “transmission fault” indicator and the car was stuck in low gear. Wouldn’t shift at all.
I parked and then it reset and was fine. Any thoughts on it??

Battery probably needs to be fully charged. These cars show all kinds of weird behavior when the battery is low.
It's likely due for the supercharger belt to be replaced (which is listed as 6 years). You might see if you can get a maintenance history on it to see if that has been done or not.
Have fun. Mine is technically a 2016 S convertible, but really a 2015. The only problem I've had after the first year was a dead battery, it's worked perfectly since with annual maintenance only.
I have winter tires as 40F is the magic number. It's great with the top down and let's you enjoy the heated steering wheel all the more when it's 20F outside.
p.s. I have no interest in updating the car, apart from lack of carplay I prefer the early models
