When I took factory tour, they showed that front chassis section is designed to be bolt-on so it is possible to replace it in case of low force front-end damage. So perhaps this is salvageable.
However, aluminum shell that uses epoxy ... if it is damaged past that front section, you won't be able to fix this. I don't think you can even use machines to pull it right... and on a convertible, you will have leaks and top issues.
sorry white tardis (my daughter loves dr who) unless things get wosre than they already are their will be no part out. bought this to fix and sell (the missing parts put a big damper on that)...so its dam the torpedoes and full steam ahead
thanks for all the encouragement .their are more things not good I will discribe soon .there will be no parting out of this car sorry folks. If you are repairing it to sell on I hope you are willing to invest whatever it takes in terms of time and $$ to get it 100% right. I would hate to be the buyer of the car from you if corners have been cut on the workmanship.

some work I did sunday repaired torn lower rocker moulding with a plastic welder --1 pic is of damage,2 set up,3 used heat gun to reform damage,4 welded rocker .material is abs plastic .different than upper rocker .all I need now is to sand, fill and paint
hi I am 90+% sure that the frame is ok beyond the rear attachment point of the engine cradle .my concern now is that the car has been worked on before .the drivers fender has 1/4 inch # bondo on it .the lower beam (that the engine cradle mounts to)is torn and cracked and has a very shoddily installed repair patch.------pics when I get a chance. and as always please excuse my grammer

Keep up the good work, and ignore the fart squib (sorry, Dog Breath) who asked for CaPiTaL letters at the bEgInNiNg of your sentences,
and text to be
broken into paragraphs...
If he wants a discussion regarding grammar I will take him outside and wallop him with an original English dictionary....
Keep posting your findings and pictures here, they help us all.
BTW - if you want any local info I'm North of ATL... and if you want pointers on posting pics, etc. just ask or PM. I have been an owner and poster here since July of last year.
There's not much that makes me want to leave CA weather, but whenever I see the workshops you guys can build out there, I get a little itchy. Keep the pics coming!

Ah, you found the little cheeky ones hiding up at the top/rear of the rocker on the inside.
That was Jags way of dealing with the paint flaking issue some early F-Types had between the rocker panel and the rear fender IMO!
Should have given this car to the Gas Monkey garage, they seem to be able to work wonders on bent GT40's, F40's and the like!

20170228_123927.jpg20170228_123934.jpg these are pics I took last week when the car was off loaded and I rebuilt (temporarily) the suspension.note behind the shock is a patch installed with sheet metal screws
Mark, just curious; are you intending to make this better than new with suspension, tuning upgrades, other aesthetic mods like the $6m man series... we can rebuild it but better! Or just get it back to original? Seems like opportunity knocks....
20170307_120170307_151557.jpg51541.jpg here is something else that bothers me the fender (this is why the rockers are off --must be removed to remove fender) now this car has 5500 miles?---I contacted prior owner he owned it since 27 mi -----where did the bondo come from?
