Default BRG on Sienna

BRG on Sienna has always been my favourite combo for an SVR (given the limited interior options) and i finally came across a video showing a 2019 build car - and it looks great

So i jumped on the latest config and noticed jag have once again changed up the trim details - they've removed the faux alu trim and brought back the black, and they've ditched the red semi circle dial graphics and gone back to the original circle graphic, both are big improvements imo

BRG on Sienna is a classic color combo that reminds me of the XKE. I special ordered that combination - that took two years to accomplish since BRG was not offered . However, it's the only MY 2018 F-Type SVR with BRG on Sienna in the world that was verified by JLR.

is that the SVR palette BRG?

because i think they've changed the paint code since the early days when you could order BRG as a standard color

i prefer whatever this BRG is

The left was how I received my car.. ...on the right after I had some panels 'wood-dipped' as I do not like thousands tints of gray/black..

And I also don't like the high-gloss what normally comes with woodpattern.. .. so this is mat, with the 'gun handle' pattern which is the standard with which it came out of the factory,

The right-hand picture is a bit to yellow as an effect from the flash..

I have always liked the look of wood dashes ever since I owned an XJ6. I agree that the shiny black/grey overtones of black interiors can be a bit much - which is why I went with the Sienna and Carbon Fiber. Others can't get enough black shiny bits - which is their preference to make. It's always nice to see all of the variation and personalization of our F-Types. It's not about judging and criticizing others for their preferences but embracing the creativity....

I think its a generation thing. Some weeks ago we had a tour & eat with nine cars. Most people over fifty liked the wood, younger ones did not. Exept my three kids [ 24/22/18], they love the wood...

The ones that appreciate it like it as its NOT high gloss so you can see the 'wood' pattern. I didn't realise at the time that the 'black pack' also was an altenative interior trim. replacing the chrome. I would have preferred that.

Hey Dan,
Yes, I believe that you are correct about the demographics of those who prefer the wood - with a few exceptions as you noted. I also agree that the satin finish is much more appealing with wood finishes to me then the high gloss finish. My main point was it's great to see the many ways we personalize our cats...

I'm one of the exceptions - over 50 (by quite some way!) and not a fan of wood interiors. I am still 25 in my head, though, so maybe that explains it.

i'd also remove the nav surround panel and have it painted gloss black like the earlier cars for a bit more premium feel - and to match the gloss black shifter surround and seat switch panel
