I checked the BCR website Monday morning, saw they had sign-ups for the coming year, sent in my requests and was accepted yesterday for British Steel V, Monterey during Car Week and a BCR in March just because they are a blast. I met Vik at Brit Steel 3 and as he says they are very well run. I had to drop out of Brit Steel IV last year because I got sick, but as Vik says they are very excellent. The Monterey BCR last summer was exceptional. Get your applications in soon as they have a limit on post 2000 vehicles.

So, their site confuses me, seems to imply that only somewhat unusual or rare vehicles post 2000 will be considered. Did I misread that from your experience, and Vik's as well?
Thanks,
Doc

Doc, it has been my experience that the group is very welcoming. There are a limited number of spots for newer cars and they are just trying to scare away things like SUVs and and basic transportation. Each year there have been a number of F-Types, as well as McLArens, Aston Martins, Lotuses and XJs. It's truly a welcoming event, they just can't let it get too big.

Are F-Types allowed, as they're not actually steel?
