Have the dreaded valve squeak in my V8S. I am on my second exhaust and am trying high temp lubricant (copper-based), but I can't seem to get the lubricant to the squeak. I'll probably go the Valvetronic route myself. The damn thing sounds like I'm torturing a chipmunk.

Has anyone tried an engine exhaust brake lubricant? Exhaust brakes used on trucks look very similar to the valves on the F-Type exhaust (internet search). I'm planning to get some as a preventative measure. This company makes it and Amazon sells it:

Great idea. Let us know how it works out.

PS: Always wanted to know what to use to lubricate muffler bearings.

I couldn’t see any way to lubricate them from the outside when I looked.

One of my favorite sites, KaleCoAuto, sold muffler bearings, blinker fluid, and other necessary 'niche' maintenance parts (like Butt Dynos). Sadly, the website appears to be down.

The Wiper Blade Sharpener was the only product of theirs that I could find:

I'm trying to get the copper lubricant to soak down from the shaft but without pulling the exhaust system it isn't easy. I may try to see if I can get a cable lubricator to fit around the shaft but it doesn't look good.
