Default OMG I'm an Ftype driver again

It feels like forever, but the Ftype is back on the road after a long long hospitalization (not me, the car).
Last check engine light indicated irregularities in fuel pressure, which turned up a major problem and some very interesting history on the F. Not to mention quite likely some shady behavior on the part of the selling dealer. I'll write that up in the next post.
Short story is that I was saved by my local Jag dealer who basically ensured that I was completely taken care of - and it involved total disassembly of the drivetrain to fix botched fuel pump installs. The warranty on this car expired a month after I bought it...
Got it back today with a bill of $0 (ZERO dollars) and I'll tell ya how they managed that.
Took it straight to the shop and put on the new wheels and tires - the old Pirelli rubber was so dry and hard, it wasn't safe to drive. Stepping out at 60mph on the fwy is a great way to end a long sad tale.

Still need to install VAP springs

Deep rear dish

Glad to see you are still pushing on and getting some help from JLR. Having ordered some two piece forged wheels recently, I can only imagine what those COR babies cost. What is the finish combo? Wieght? I too, wanted some contrast between the stepped lip and the wheel center. I like the gloss black inner ring too. Look forward to more of your writeup! Although you haven't had much time driving, curious on your impressions on the changes of wheels and springs to your driving feel.
