Hi Guys,

I just picked up a CPO 2014 F-Type Convertible few hours ago, without vision package so it doesn't have a backup camera. I didn't notice this at first but every time I start the engine, there is this loud beeping followed by the message Cameras not available, please consult your dealer. Even if I do not have the backup camera, this message should not display every time I start the car right?

Does anyone have any easy fix or know what the problem is? I know I can take it back for them to take a look at it, just wondering if anyone encounter something similar.

 

Tim - It seems rather odd that a car would even make reference to a feature that is not present. Unfortunately, I can't help you. I'd call the dealer on the phone and see if they're able to offer an explanation prior to hassling with taking it in.
