i'm spec'ing out a new RR Velar for the wife and it also has an R-Dynamic option which just adds some different visual treatments and wheels.
If that's true then adding "Dynamic" to the name makes even less sense as that's the word used by Jaguar to describe changes you can make on how the car performs !?!

Yep; the R no longer means anything useful. They screwed up the F type badging by going from S to R in the first place and now it's been used for so many different models that it means nothing. I'm removing my S badging (and not adding any R's!) and letting the quad exhausts do the talking.

R Sport.... hmmm... kinda like:

M Sport = tarted-down version of BMW M series performance line
V Sport = tarted-down version of Cadillac V series performance line
S Line = tarted-down version of Audi S series performance line

and so on....

I don't care what Jag calls future models as long as mine keeps putting a smile on my face. They can make a 2-cyl and call it an R for all I care.

Based off of what I know, there's a good chance that the information shown in the video is incorrect. Dead giveaway is the front calipers which appear to be the High/Super Performance calipers. Theres a couple of possibilities:

-Good chance that this is a pre-production/early build car so the badging and or information might be off. Its been known to happen.

-Its the "new" V6S. V6S became "R-Dynamic". The exhaust tip could be the little known accessory exhaust tip cover.

-It could be a non US spec model.

EDIT:
Its a NON US spec model. If you go on Jaguar UK, you can build an "R-DYNAMIC" model on the 4 banger down to the upgraded brakes!

Assuming I did find someone to make them, and to ensure that it does remain meaningful, buying them would have to come with certain conditions (e.g. buyer would have prove they have a lower pulley and/or short shifter). I suspect the set-up costs would be prohibitive. We'll just have to rely on the window clings.
