Probably not specifically a Jag problem, but was wondering if anyone is using Carplay fro navigation and might be able to help with my problem?
Until recently, I was able to use Siri to connect with Google Maps and Waze. Both systems would provide spoken step-by-step instructions for navigation.
As of Sunday, Siri still accepts verbal instructions and begins navigation, but I no longer get verbal step-by-step instructions from either Google or Waze.
Would appreciate any ideas - have already pretty much exhausted the internet for solutions.

 

I assume music playback is still ok. The solution is pretty simple. Voice instructions have their own volume control that is controlled by the cars volume knob and that is independent of the volume of music or radio playback. You must have inadvertantly turned the volume knob down when instructions were being read out one time so it is now at zero. Just keep programing in new destinations and try turn up the volume soon after. Nav program will be reading out instructions but you wont be able to hear them at zero volume so just keep trying to time it correctly and you will be able to catch it when it is reading out and the volume will increase. Waze has it's volume setting in setting option but adjusting this wont help as the carplay nav volume is the issue and not on the iphone side.
