Has anyone fitted the accessory Chrome hood louvres to their F-Type? I think I'd like the contrast on the Stratus grey hood, but not sure if reflections would be an issue. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of chrome (especially not fake plastic chrome), but I do like small detail touches that highlight shapes on the car. If all the trim were satin, or brushed aluminum I'd get them in a heartbeat. If you have them, I'd love to see pics!
I agree's it's odd on those cars with the chrome side vents. I'd prefer matching chrome hood vents on my car too.
There's a set on EBAY for $450 ish!
As an aside, I have a problem with the 'money for nothing' options - the black trim no doubt costs the same as the chrome trim (Coupe window trim, side and hood vents, plus the front chrome piece), yet if you want the black its $1000 (on the base) on TOP of the cost of the std chrome bits. You should just get the choice. Irks me...

I have chrome hood louvers, side louvers and window surround on Ebony exterior. Wasn't sure it was the right move at first, but quickly learned to love the change.
To my design eye, the front Hood Louvers and side Power Vents are complimentary design elements on the F-Type -- like earrings and a matching necklace is to a woman's outfit -- never could understand why they didn't match the finish of both elements in production.
There is no problem whatsoever with glare.
I'll post a few photos showing both elements in the same frame a bit later.
