Default Correct fuel cap p/n?

My fuel cap tether at some point got kinked and has a deep wear mark in the middle. It's ugly, but also is likely going to break at some point soon. I looked up the part number on some online fische's, but there's like 3 or 4 different P/N's for Jaguar fuel caps that it says may fit my '16 FTR, as well as a dozen other Jaguar models. Anyone know the correct P/N, or are they all the same? It seems really weird that JLR would have more than one SKU for a fuel cap.

this is the one I ordered from Britcar.com for my 2015 R: C2D33850
just do a search based on your year/model and it should come up. I initially ordered one based on a part number I found on this site but it was incorrect.

Thanks! I did look it up by year/model, and it listed 3 or 4 options. I guess maybe they all could work, it just seems absurd that JLR would have that many SKU's of fuel caps that all have the same application.

this is the one I see for your car: Part Number: C2D52672

https://parts.jaguarpalmbeach.com/p/.../C2D52672.html

for my car, I did not know there were 2 caps available depending on VIN. I have this specific one that I initially ordered which works for you but was not right for mine. sending you a message.

just a guess but the different caps may be related to the changes JLR had to make with the fuel fill problem and it necessitated a need for more than one size.
