Cracked a wheel
I came out in the morning to a low tire after filling the tire up the night before. I had it towed to the dealer as I wasn't in a position to take the wheel off myself and didn't want to chance driving on it. It turns out the wheel was cracked. I didn't hit any large potholes or anything that was noticeable to cause the crack.
I am having the wheel repaired versus buying a new one, but this has me upping the urgency for a set of new wheels.
Be careful out there especially those in the NE where the roads are crappy.

hence my urgency for a set of aftermarket wheels.
However, depending on the location and severity of the crack ... it can be a lasting repair. I didnt go check it out first hand but from the SA described it was minor and it's why they gave an option to repair it.

I cracked a rear gyrodyne a couple months ago and was given the choice of getting it fixed or getting a refinished wheel from the wheel insurance co. I opted for the refinished wheel, of course, but also had the cracked wheel welded at my own expense. I'll keep it as a spare with the worn tire for the next road surface adventure. This makes the 3rd time I've collected on the insurance in less than a year and a half. Damage always seems to be on the rear.
