My wheel came from Poland via FedEx with no customs duty. There was no core charge per se but perhaps it was rolled into the cost of the new wheel which was around $900 at the time. I did have an issue with the left bank of controls on the wheel not working correctly and Guardian offered to fix that but I just removed the left bank from my stock wheel and put that into the new wheel. Has been perfect for the past almost two years.
Hi Ollibee, your steering wheel looks great and I have the same interior, if you wouldn’t mind I’d like to ask you a few questions.
1- is your leather and alcantara color “Black”, it appears to be dark grey in the photos
2- did tomasz provide the steering wheel
3- did you retain your own steering wheel
4- would you change anything now that it is installed
5- are you happy with the way it complements your interior
I've been in contact with Thomasz, and seriously thinking of purchasing a similar steering wheel
thank you in advance for your response
warm regards
Frank Barone
Mine is now also installed. I had the same issue wit wiring harness and switches. But now everything works fine.
Hi ollibee hopefully you can read above the questions I have.
regards Frank
Hi everyone and thank you for your photos and comments. I received my steering wheel from Dallas Steering Wheel yesterday and hopefully it will be installed in my jag today. I will post photos after installation, but for now here are some photos:
1 alcantara top and bottom
2 Napa perforated leather on sides
3 leather stripe at 12 o’clock
4 cross stitching
I guess I'll use this thread as it seems to have the most folks replying to it and good information for customization.
I haven't seen any indication of this, but are the steering wheels uniserial in that they can work with either manual or automatics? I would think you just remove the paddle shifters if you aren't going to use them but would like better then a guess before I drop a few hundred bucks on a flat bottomed wheel for my manual 2017.

Thank in advance for any assistance....
Quick bump before I bite the bullet and spend the money...
I see this thread died on the vine a little while ago, but I’m looking to improve the disappointing OEM leather steering wheel with some quality stuff. I really like Guardian’s simplicity but their website says they only support pre-facelifted models (up to FY20) I PM’d their account with no response yet, but wanted to know if anyone here has a facelift model and ordered their wheel. I prefer the thinner updated wheel to the much thicker design of the older models so that’s my main concern.
Guardian steering wheels look great!
I went with a matte CF / Alcantara / black stitching wheel from TTD Craft (3rd wheel I ordered from them).
Ordered with the matching matte CF trim but decided to retain the original satin black trim. Might change it one day.
Had the dealer change to the aluminum paddles while they swapped the wheel.
When I ordered this wheel it, it was for the '21 FType that had black seats with black Alcantara centers, so the wheel was designed accordingly.
I have a similar matte CF / Alcantara wheel in my Merecedes that has black leather / Alcantara seats. (Had a gloss CF wheel in the Merecedes I just sold. I really like the feel of the matte CF - almost feels soft).
By the time (3-4 weeks) the wheel arrived I had bought the '23 FType and sold the '21!
Fortunately, I like this wheel in the '23 also (it goes with the Alcantara headliner)
Had I ordered the wheel for the '23 I would have gone with red stitching, but... oh well.
Matte CF console trim added since that picture.

Question for you. The wheels on the website state they're for the pre-facelift models (up to MY20). Did you notice that the Guardians wheel was noticeably thicker and/or a larger diameter than the OEM wheel? I know they made the newer models with a slightly smaller and thinner wheel. Additionally, was there any issue with the wiring or installation?

Don't know.
My wheel is from a different company (TTD Craft) and it is thicker than the OEM.
My wheel retained and used my original OEM components (except I changed to the aluminum paddles - so the dealer just swapped all that over but had to reprogram due to the aluminum paddle switches).
However, per an email from Guardian today, they can do the newer wheels as well. They are very responsive if you reach out to them directly for information about the wheels they do.
I really like how that came out... looks amazing! If I decide to change the steering wheel, I might just copy that style, but with a red center line color that matches the interior of my car. But man that looks good!!
