About to get delivery of my second F-type. The Base wasn't good enough in the snow, need the limited slip differential of the R-Dynamic.

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, so while we *technically* have four seasons, it works out to wet/nice/hot/nice. That makes daily driving easy enough. I used to ride my motorcycle daily all year 'round, back in my younger days.

Got my F-Type this week and my daily round trip commute is about 40 miles. Think the car will last till the odometer hits 80K miles?

It's the perfect daily driver. Fast, fun, and gorgeous. Who needs a back seat or big trunk?

Compared to my last car this convertible does have a big trunk.

I don't daily it but am averaging 10k per year for the two years I've owned it. No garage queen here.

I would love to but the driveways into strip malls and shopping centers are treacherous. They are literally gutters. Drainage, you know.

+1. Same here. Even lowered an inch and a half, its a petfect daily driver. I opt to put the wear and tear of beltway traffic on the MINI.

Mine is my daily. I plan on putting 15k miles/year on it ... I will drive it unless there is snow/ice on the ground.

Not me….too scared to drive it daily…lol.

I live in an area where it seems that no one knows how to drive under normal conditions much less during inclement weather. And forget about commuting as there is no such things as keeping in your lane or obeying red lights.

So I usually drive my big Tundra to work in order to give me some level of protection and early warning as I can usually see around or over most and run over minor obstructions and get through inclement with less drama...lol. I can't see much when driving the Jag in heavy traffic and definitely can't get around things unless I have an open lane to pass (which is not happening during the commute since my route resembles more of a slow moving parking lot), so I usually limit commuting in the Jag to 1-2 days per week and save it for my evenings and weekend cruises when traffic is less.

Count me in! South Texas where the sun always shines. Top down back home after work through the Hill Country. Sometimes with AC...sorry global warming.
