Default Difference In Tunes?

Hey guys, I just picked up a new to me '14 V6S and have been looking at mods. I think I'd like to get a tune for it, but I'm not entirely sure who to go with. I've got it narrowed down to Velocity AP and EuroToys. So, are there any appreciable differences between the two? Are they both hidden from the dealership scanners? I could use some guidance here.

Any tune will be permanently visible to a dealer scanner, even if removed.

If not visible to the dealer scanner, certainly visible to the manufacturer when they do a post mortem on a catastrophic failure. That said, you can't go wrong with choosing either VAP or Eurotoys (DO NOT confuse with Eurocharged). Both know what they are doing, have plenty of experience with these engines and are highly customer service oriented.

Can't comment on Eurotoys but VAP has outstanding customer service. They usually would respond very thoroughly to my email inquiries within 1 to 2 hrs - even on weekends. In fact this last Friday I made an inquiry and got a reply in about 30 minutes.

I have their tune on my V6S and am very pleased with it.

I have some dealers in the US that install our parts/tunes, not sure how they work warranty. I know that if the dealer logs the car in with Jag engineers, they will see if the car had a tune in it.

Mine has the Scarlet Letter emblazoned in its permanent record, but the dealer is not giving me grief. They seem to have the feeling that "we don't care, but we like to know" in case there are questions that come up, e.g. "should I apply an update?" or in my case "could this be related to the reported Adaptive Dynamics fault." I do my best to inform them of all details that may be relevant and they take that into account when diagnosing any issues that come up.
