Oh, that is so true!

The Vanquish was my "now I can die happy" car until I laid eyes on the F Type.

When I heard it start up, it was all over ... "just take my money"!

Today I decided to try an all white thicker stripe.
I am not into stripes at all but the horizontal black stripe between the headlights of the white Project 7 looks OK. Have you considered trying that?

Oh god the wrap is actually fake carbon fiber. That makes it a 100x worse IMO.

There is little thought to these wraps. With the Coupe R you can do some very creative wraps if you use the correct lines and colour combinations.

Then again you can just go bling

I just have never been a fan of matte wraps or paint jobs, especially in black. It always looks like an unpainted car to me. Like a car that's been in an accident and they could only afford to put the primer on after salvaging some body parts from the junkyard. Also heard they are a pain to keep clean but that might only be for the more satin finishes. Not sure.

As a rule, I agree with you. However, this is the Audi RS7 I came very close to buying before I opted for the F Type. It was one of the very rare occasions that I've seen a matte finish really work.

That looks better but lighting definitely affects it. The top picture looks good, the bottom picture is back to that 'unfinished' look.

I do like that Audi usually has a more satin look to their matte finishes. I saw a nice daytona grey matte R8 the last time I was in the dealership.

Yes, I think they're getting the balance just about right.

not a fan of matte black, but matte white is very nice if properly done.

You can have matte finished vehicles. I am not paying big money for any vehicle that looks like it was painted with a Krylon can.

I'm not into matte in any color. I do like shiny things.
