Does this offer seem reasonable
I configured a manual convertible 2017 F-Type S with a few options that takes the price from $82K -> $93K. The order is for a brand new from car from factory. The dealer is only willing to take $3,000 off MSRP. Which brings the price of the car down to $90K. Is this the normal deal for a brand new order? Dealer states the invoice is at $88K.
I had originally asked for 5% off MSRP which put the car at invoice, but the dealer said no way that is happening on a new order.
Does this sound reasonable?

I suppose my dealer is not being unreasonable then. My order has already been placed, but I wanted to do some double checking.
My last date to cancel/change configuration is 9/8 and I am still struggling between the 'vert and the coupé.

I've never owned a 'vert before and the F-Type looks amazing when the top is down, when the top is up its still beautiful but not as beautiful as the coupé lines. I also like the idea of more storage space for out of town trips. And I question how often I'll actually drive with the top down since I've never own a 'vert.
Well I love breaking stereotypes

In California, I don't understand why/how they could sell any coupes. Get convertible and enjoy the sun! (just don't forget to apply sunscreen)

Haha, I think I'll stick with the 'vert, but the coupe rear lines (to me) are prefect minus the hideous miniature rear spoiler.
I think I prefer the look of the Coupe' but the F-Type is my Wife's Car, she wanted a white Convertible, so you know how that goes Guys.
At least I had the last word "Yes Dear"
Having said that, I do love the Convertible, the SoCal climate is perfect for it, however, I would never sit in it on a Hot Day in heavy traffic, it's like sitting in a frying Pan, but it's so easy to put the top up and down, even while driving under 30mph. The top is very well insulated when it's up.

I do like the lines of the coupe better, but the idea of an F-Type vert and the sound with the top down are captivating. I did toy with the idea but the climate out here in the East only gives a few vert days a year. I also do not like the thought of wearing a hat whenever I drive to protect my bald head. So, a coupe for me. The MB SL Class had some real appeal but I am glad I got the Jaguar.

I had NO IDEA how advanced the roof was... people seem duly impressed that it takes seconds at
I have always had roadsters and in west and southeast how can you not. But I admit that Jag coupes seem to always look better. I put the roof down a lot and would feel the expeirience would suffer without it.
So just for giggles I decided to configure a coupe, but when I select the red performance seats it forces the carbon fiber roof into the package.
Can one not get performance seats without the carbon fiber roof anymore?? Seems very weird to me.

Truecar puts the car right at about $90K too, so I suppose the dealer offer is fair.
I've had verts as DDs for at least the last 10 years. Never, ever, ever going back to a hardtop.
On extremely hot days if I'm stuck in traffic, I'll turn on the AC to take the edge off until I start moving.
The FT top is pretty well insulated, but if you'll notice traffic sounds coming from places that you wouldn't on a hardtop.
If you get a vert, the Vision Package is (IMHO) a necessary requirement because of the huge blind spots.
