Mine sounds similar but not as loud, maybe cuz your phone is directly on the source of the noise. I heard it's normal

Turns out all I could here was the DI pulsing and the SC whirring, and overall it was pretty quiet, almost no rattle at all. So maybe the dealer did replace one or two parts after all. But this was on a warm/hot engine, I need to perform another test tomorrow morning on a dead cold engine, because it definitely rattles like crazy when cold.
Don't worry about what it sounds like cold. When cold, mine has sounded like a tractor engine since new.

Have you checked spec sheet, it might have been ordered with a tractor engine.

I'll double-check this afternoon.

Thanks Holy F type! I know that is how you are ~supposed~ to close the hood. But mine is so balky that I can get it down about a foot doing it this way and it goes no more. Showed it to the service mgr at my dealer, and he said look, no problem. Well he is about 6'5" and I'm... not. Also, unless I SLAM it on the driver's side, it doesn't latch on that side.
I got a stethoscope today, took a listen. Wasn't really sure what I was hearing, but I guess it is OK? I listened to the injector sound, the injector pulses are much higher frequency than the tick tick tick in the vid. I'll ask when I take it in, any odds on/against "They all do that?"
Mine does sound rather tractor-ish at idle...

My V6S sounds the same. Sometimes it's louder when warm than cold. Other times it's opposite. I think it's a British thing.
