Draining Gas
Pretty sure there's nothing to prevent siphoning. I had to have my filler neck changed for the fuel-shutoff problem when filling, so expect it's a straight shot.
How full is the tank? If actually full, you'll have little condensation. If low, you could add some "gas dryer" and then a few gallons of fresh, then go straight to a station to fill up.

Every new car I have had for at least the last ten or 15 years has had some sort of check valve or anti siphon device in the filter neck that will not allow even a 1/4" siphon pipe past it. I don't even try to siphon gas anymore because of this.

I guess you didn’t treat the gas with stabilizer?
Have you tried starting the engine?
Yes, 10% ethanol gasoline will START to degrade after 3 - 6 months, but that doesn't mean it is totally 'bad'. If the 10-month-old gasoline allows the engine to start, you could add a stabilizer at that time, fill the tank with 'fresh' stuff, and be on your way. best to drive it and 'slosh' the fuel around.
If the tank was almost full when parked as is often recommended during winter 'sleep', there is less chance of degradation, (phase separation, look it up)
