ebay Alternatives
Greetings.
Haven't been back here for quite some time, but could use the groups advice. Just closed my eBay account because they are shifty b******s and am looking for an alternative to peddle my old Jaguar stuff. Held on to it because I always thought I would own another E-Type one day, but after a year in my Bentley I cannot see that happening. Any feedback on alternative sales sites or the markeplace here would be most appreciated.

There is a Marketplace section on this forum as an easy alternative, but I'm not sure how much traffic it gets on parts. Check with your local Jaguar club (someone's bound to be working on an e-Type). Forget Craigslist for many reasons.
Craigslist is always a lot of fun if your expectations are low enough. Had not heard of Search Tempest thank you!
Only problem with CL is a lot of scammers and time wasters.
Having said that I do not see a good alternative for selling bulky items that are expensive to ship.
I think the risk is highest when not dealing with local cash buyers.
At least EBay provides an element of fraud protection via PayPal.

Thanks everyone. Will start here and see where it goes. Just some manuals and a couple parts for old E Types, nothing big.
