Have NOT had to use it, myself... This isn't a sales pitch, I just own two based on testimonials from other auto forums.

The Element E50 discharges in 50 seconds. They sell an Element E100 that provides 100 seconds, as well.

Here is a demo of the Element in action. That one took 38 seconds to extinguish.

Here is a promo and demonstration by Jay Leno.

First Aid Kit. Not an equipment but it "might" help save some lives in case of an accident.

First Aid kit is definitely a great idea and of course not one with seven bandages and a cotton patch. I picked up several in Germany and I dare say you could do minor surgeries with what's inside.

I keep the air pump out of the trunk container so that I can get a hold of it easily.

And my fire extinguisher is sort of under the passenger seat. I am now considering getting the Element extinguisher.

Hahaha, actually when I had a flat a few months ago the AAA guy was great. He used rags when strapping my rims down for extra protection and kept complimenting the car, let me drive it up and everything.

Does anyone have a recommendation on tire sealer, like slime or Fix a Flat? I'd rather use a plug, but my wife drives it and her LC500 so I need something she can use with a 12v air compressor easily. I'll break down the wheel/tire and clean it up later.
