Default Exhaust Cutouts

Has anyone installed exhaust cutouts on their V6 F-Type? Or, does anyone know if there would be any negative ramifications from doing so?
Chime in with any comments pro or con.
I need some more noise to compete with my son's Mustang GT.

Good question. Other than a cold start's initial rev, our cars are pretty quiet at low RPMs. I wonder if there is a way to increase idle rumble without sacrificing our exotic harmonic mid range that Mustangs and other muscle vcars seem to be missing? One small improvement is to pull Fuse 43.

Another easy thing to explore might be an X pipe.

QTP cutouts will absolutely make your car louder, get them placed behind the muffler Obviously, have the remote control option is a must. My dad has this on his ctsv and it’s magic. Cheapest and easiest exhaust mod to do. I went the sport cats route but that requires a tune. I highly recommend sport cats.
