Exhaust rattle at low RPM
I apologize if this should be posted in a different area. I am a new member.
I have a 2016 Jaguar F Type convertible S. I have a inconsistent metallic rattling sound when the engine revs at low rpm.
It doesn't seem to happen when driving at higher RPM's or speeds. Anyone have this problem?
Not sure if its just a stone caught in the heat shield or something. The dealer didn't have any idea although i have booked it in for a full service.
If anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas I would appreciate it!

hmm ive got a weird rattle now coming from my F type R exhaust too now.... its not as loud as it used to be when you start it up or put on the sport exhaust. Rattle cann only be heard when the sport exhaust button is pushed. it sounds like it keys/coins jingling. also the car doesnt pop/crackle as much as it used to at lower RPMs.

Rattle on mine, 3.0S with active exhaust button
Happens on start-up hot or cold and fades after a couple of minutes, so I assume the box heats up.
Diagnosed as faulty back box of exhaust and having a complete new one fitted at a cost of £1,600
Warranty thankfully under UK consumer legislation as Jaguar warranty excludes it
