Default F-Type 4 Door?

I was cruising the internet today and found these images for an F-Type 4 door concept.
Anyone think this will become a reality?

I hope so! Look at how much money Porsche is making off the Panamera!

I hope not! The Porsche Panamera, in my mind, is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen.

What do you mean, one of the ugliest, is there something worse? Okay, I guess the 1963 Plymouth Valiant and any year Alfa Milano are in the running, but I think the Porsche is the clear winner.

Ohhh the performance though. Not much that can beat a Panni Turbo S and probably nothing with 4 doors.

The four door F-type sort of reminds me of the Mazda RX8 with the small rear wing doors, a family sports car.

The XFR-S is a better option for a 4 door

But Walt,
You still have to look at it everyday! I have to love the aesthetics of an automobile before I can commit to looking at it forever, no matter what the performance is!

The Panny's looks grows on you. I haven't meant a single person who liked the Panamera right off the bat. But oh man the Turbo S is an amazing car in terms of performance. Amazing what they can do with such a large sedan. Cayenne + Panamera => pays for 911 development. The more Jaguar can sell, the more money for F-Type development.

I hope not. IMO, Jaguar needs a 2+2 format to replace the XK and that would be a worthwhile platform to develop because it could double as a grand coupe.

The F-Type is already overextended IMO and while I understand why Jag would want to milk the crap out of their R&D dollars, every additional variant (4cyl model, 4-dr) somewhat dilutes the prestige of the model to me.

While I kind of like the 4 door F-Type, I would rather see Jaguar build a cooler XF model that builds on the F-Type’s physical design presence and mystique.

I have driven several Panamera’s and it is without doubt a very good performance car. As good as it is, I could never overcome the pregnant 911 looks.

This sadly is what has happened to BMW. They have diluted the brand so much that they have a vehicle for every size and person, start with the 2 series and add water. The marketing department is in control of the company building an empire while the engineering department seems to be losing the fight for sport, fun and quality in some models. I expect them to start building pickups and minivans soon. I think the F-Type is the start of many good things to come for Jaguar. I just hope they maintain the prestige and exclusivity of the brand while remaining profitable. I think the addition of the XE and C-X17 crossover should better round out their offering to help this without diluting the brand too much. If they start rolling out 5 different models of SUV's and something as ugly as the BMW i3, then I will worry.

Perhaps Dodge Charger Hellcat? One fourth the price as well.

That they felt the need to graft the nose and **** of a 911 on it in order the make it a "Porsche" says everything.

That they also grafted the nose of the 911 on to a VW to get the Cayenne only reinforces the point.

But then: this is the brand that scrapped the 928 and 944. Because.
