This is pretty cool.

I know quite a few MAMILs who might order one of these if they offered its as an option.

 

I recall the appearance of this SVO F-Type being much anticipated when it was announced as a 'teaser' in Sky and Jaguar publicity build up to the 2014 Tour de France.

Unfortunately events turned out very differently for Team Sky and it wasn't a procession to another podium for defending champion Chris Frome.

In the circumstances. the F-Type never made an appearance in front of the cameras on Stage 20 from Bergerac to Périgueux and the support vehicles on the day were the usual XFR Sportbrakes.

Makes you wonder what happened to the F-Type.

I can answer that as it turns out. I found it lurking in the parking garage under Concord Jaguar in Sydney Australia today.

 

And I thought rearward visibility was already bad enough!
