Default F Type headlight evolution

For those who are interested in seeing the headlight changes in one image, here ya go. My personal favorites are the 2018-2020 headlights in the middle. The '21 and newer changed the look of the front of the car by sitting below the hood. Not hating on them like some choose to and it wouldn't deter me from buying a '21+ F Type, but I prefer the middle child.

Visually, the 2013-2017 headlight with the 'eye' looks most fitting.

However, I would pay a good sum for LED headlights..

I prefer the recent one 21, the 2013 isn't the best looking one on that photo, the all black looks better

Your wish is granted. A member here recently posted that each LED headlight assembly is $4000.

I'm not as much of a fan of the 21+ as the older, more vertical, style. To me, the vertical lights were an iconic part of the nose and the 21+ look more 'laid down', making it look too much like an Audi at first glance (like a sexier R8).

Only with the original headlights the car looks like a cat. The LEDs are not that bad on their own, but combined with the facelifted bumper the whole front looks softish. The 2021+ is a crime. Original HIDs with original bumper is the best, maybe LEDs with original bumper works too, but I never saw that combo.

Obviously, I'm as biased as everyone else. But, I do agree, this has been an evolution. Here's my take on the backstory...

Look closely... The eyes are the windows to the soul.

V1: This is an absolute outstanding look. The Cat is reborn, a child of the 60's in a brave new world, wide-eyed and ready to take everything and anybody.

V2: Someone put those damn bars across his face, like braces, or reins and a steel bit. Not good. His eyes narrow, as would anyone if it happened to them.

V3: They've semi-castrated him, taken out the growl - no more night screams. Dammit, this is not right! Like a Project 7, he spits out the bit, the eyes narrow and start to whirl. And - he's - thoroughly - pissed. Get outta the way!

They all look fantastic to me. The new shape is more muscle-car ish which I suppose is one reason why those of you in the US might not be as fond of it, after all you already have plenty of them.

But for me all versions look much, much better on the road, with the LED's on. I'd find it hard to pick my favorite, though if it wasnt the new version that is more because I prefer the bonnet shape of the earlier versions, with the power bulge (which I'd read was derived from the 6 cyl E Type, so as to fit the engine in) and the nostrils.

And despite that, they actually are not plug and play.. there's another thread where this was discussed.
