I put the VAP Springs with 17mm spacers on and it does rub in the rear when going over bumps.
Are you running 15 or 17mm spacers on yours?

Have you determined exactly where it is rubbing? You have something unusual going on with your car. I have absolutely no rubbing occurring with the 15mm spacers, H&R Springs and 305mm PSS tires whether hard cornering or bumps.

Yes, it is rubbing on the inside of the fender.
The top part of the sidewall rubs against it.

[QUOTE=DJP;1567921]Yes, it is rubbing on the inside of the fender. On the frame side or the wheel arch side?

The wheel arch side.
Maybe the extra 2mm on the 17mm spacers is too much?

I could understand that with the H&R springs, but can't see that being an issue with the VAP springs. Is it rubbing on the metal lip or the plastic fender liner?

It's rubbing on the metal lip.
It only rubs when going over big bumps.
While driving straight and on turns it does not.

We will see how these wheels and the VelocityAP springs work on the SVR in a couple of weeks. My P104s identical to the OP are in production.

I'm still scratching my head over this one. What wheels are you using?

Is this due directly to being lowered? I have 325's out back - no rubbing.

Well I put the 17mm spacers on the car before I lowered it and did not have any issues with rubbing. I have the Forged Blade wheels.
Then I put the car on H&R lowering springs with spacers and it would rub only in rear even at slow speeds while turning.
Now it's on VAP springs with the spacers and drives fine with no rubbing even if driving in a "spirited" manner except when I hit big bumps. Then it rubs on both sides in rear.
Is there any suggestion anyone has that might allow me to keep 17mm spacers? The car looks truly amazing with a he combination of VAP springs and 17mm spacers but can't have it rubbing.
Here are some pictures!

The tire rubs against this lip.
It also only rubs when it has a full tank of gas or with another passenger in car.
When I'm driving alone it doesn't.

2mm must make all the difference, i'm running H&R springs with 15mm spacers and have no problems at all.

I wonder if it's just the vert. I also have the 17mm spacers installed & am planning on lowering it. Don't know now which springs to go with. H&R or Velocity.

Look into having the lip professionally rolled, that should give you the clearance you're looking for.

I put the H&R ones first and then the VelocityAP ones and the VelocityAP are better in every way IMO.

I already looked info getting the fenders rolled. According to 3 different performance shops it can't be done on the F type due to the panels being aluminum.

By the way, the OP asked for a recommendation on tuning. VelocityAP hands down.

Yep, I certainly wouldn't try that; not worth the risk IMO.

Default 15mm spacers still rubbing!

So I took the 17mm spacers off and put 15mm spacers on there but it's still rubbing!

Is it possible that the Carbon Blade Wheels have a lower off set and that's why?

No, that wheel has the same 38mm offset as the rest of the 20" rear wheels.

Here is some new info:

Last week,I hit a bump and for the first time experienced some tire rub with my setup (15mm spacers, 1.3" H&Rs, 305s)
My performance wheel shop spent some time closely measuring the available space in the rear wheel well, observing wheel travel with the spring removed. It turns out that true tire clearance is in no way affected by how much the car has been lowered. An OEM suspension will travel just as low as a lowered suspension at bottom stop. So, experiencing wheel rub with an OEM suspension may not occur as frequently with a widened track, it can still occur if the track has been effectively widened too much. The conclusion is that 15mm total widening is safe, but 20mm definitely is not. 17mm probably is ok, but it is close. Therefore, with 17mm spacers and 305s (adding 5mm to each side of the tire), you are at 22 mm, well beyond the limit.
